Privacy policy

The website of Piccola Italia respects your privacy. This page explains which data is processed and why.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is [to be completed], e-mail: piccolaitaliarezerwacje@gmail.com.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools from other companies. Fonts and images are served by this website itself: opening a page loads nothing from other companies.

Anonymous visit statistics

To see how its website is used, the restaurant counts visits without cookies: which page was opened, the website you came from (only its name, e.g. google.com), the language, the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer) and clicks on the phone number, e-mail address, directions and booking button. Your IP address is not stored with the statistics and nothing in them identifies you: only daily totals are kept, for 25 months. To block abuse, a one-way scrambled form of your IP address is used for one minute and deleted within a day. The purpose is the restaurant's own statistics; the legal basis is its legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Nothing is counted if JavaScript is switched off.

Map and directions

The map is only loaded from OpenStreetMap after you click “Show map”; at that moment your IP address is sent to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. The “Directions” link opens Google Maps.

Table bookings

When you book a table, the details you enter (name, e-mail address, phone number, number of guests, date, time and remarks) are sent to the restaurant through The Plus Club (TPC), the booking system the restaurant uses, in order to handle your booking. TPC sends you the confirmation e-mail. The legal basis is the handling of your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long the data is kept

Your name, e-mail address, phone number and remarks are deleted from this website 30 days after the date of your booking; only the date, the number of guests and the status remain, for statistics. The restaurant and TPC keep booking data according to their own policies.

Server logs

To keep the website secure, the hosting server records technical data of each request, such as the IP address and the time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
